What the report is, where the numbers come from, and what it cannot do.
A self-service report that compares a student profile with 83 universities across the US, UK, Hong Kong and Australia. It shows a 0–100 competitiveness index, reach/match/safety positioning, round-by-round admission rates where published, a gap checklist, comparable anonymised cases and a grade-by-grade action list.
The index is a relative fit measure, not an admission probability. 50 means roughly at the school's bar; lower means a bigger gap. Two schools with the same score can have very different admit rates.
The model weighs academic results, course rigour, tests and language, activities and leadership, major difficulty, identity/pool, application round and structural hooks. Exact weights and formulas are proprietary and not disclosed.
Essays are not scored: to avoid self-rating bias, every profile gets the same baseline; essay quality is flagged separately in the gap diagnosis.
Each school record is labelled with a source tier and a verification date:
Official Common Data Set, UCAS, JUPAS, school statements and published admission statistics.
Third-party Reputable industry compilations and media reports.
Estimate Our estimate where no official split is published; marked “est.” and to be re-checked each cycle.
Policies change yearly. Re-check the school's official page before submitting.
The library contains 3,400+ public admission records. Student names and identifying high-school names have been removed; only grades, background type, major and outcome remain.
Cases come from official school publications, students' own posts and third-party compilations. Use them as directional references, not admission rates. A single case never proves a rule.
We do not collect or store student names, transcripts, activity lists, dream-school lists or report contents. The profile is processed and saved in your browser only. Our server stores the order, licence key and a verification log; IP addresses in logs are hashed.
Payments are processed by Gumroad and its payment providers; we never see your full card number.
83 universities: US, UK, Hong Kong and Australia. School records are reviewed each admissions cycle; the verification date is printed on every school card. If a policy changes mid-cycle, the official page always wins.
